If you are a working person you soon learn as a Vegan is that it isn't that easy to pop out and get something for lunch. Even when the sandwich lady pops round, there is usually nothing available in her selection that you can eat. Even those lucky enough to have a canteen at work will find they often land up with a wilted salad or overcooked veggies of the day. We need to have a proper , fully balanced meal for lunch.
Well help is at hand. There are a couple of excellent Blogs giving you fabulous ideas of what to pack for lunch and I suggest you visit them.
Vegan Lunchcast has daily updates of great ideas of what to take as your packed lunch. The write up is so well done that my stomach starts grumbling as I read it.
Vegan Lunch Box also has amazing packed lunches. I cannot wait to try her Broccoli and Brioche.
And not to forget your children as they will basically have the same problems at school. I suggest you take a look at "How to pack a fun lunch for a Vegan child" and Veg Families "School Lunch Ideas".
